This campaign has always been about Putting People First. I am thankful for ALL of the people I have met over the past few months. This is not an easy decision for me, though it is with a heavy heart that I am withdrawing my candidacy for Representative to the Wisconsin State Assembly District 57 for very personal reasons.

My wish is to one day live in a Wisconsin that is not a Democratic Wisconsin or a Republican Wisconsin but a United Wisconsin, where we always Put People First. I do not know what the future holds for me as a candidate, but I know no matter what, you will stand with me by my side, as always. Because of that you are in my heart. I thank everyone for their undying moral support. I encourage you all to volunteer in your community, pay the good you have to offer forward to help others.

As I return to my private/personal life, not as a candidate, but as a son, brother and father, I hope you can live your life by these words, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal... that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
